The UEFA-licensed tactician has gotten a bigger job in Europe and would look to show his skills from the touchlines
Super Eagles assistant coach Paul Aigbogun has been appointed as the new manager of Danish second Division side Jammerbugt FC.
Aigbogun has had quite a coaching career. The 50-year-old has coached some of the biggest clubs in Nigeria, including Warri Wolves and two-time CAF Champions League winners Enyimba.
The former Nevada Wonders man was appointed as coach of the Flying Eagles in 2019, he led the team to a round of 16 finish at the 2019 U-20 World Cup.
Aigbogun’s last job was at Glacis United in the Gilbratar League in 2021. However, he didn’t even last two months on the job.
Nonetheless, the former Enyimba gaffer has landed another job in Europe, as Danish third-tier side Jammerbugt FC have confirmed his appointment as head coach.
Jammerbugt got relegated from the first division last season. And they lost their first game of the season already.
Aigbogun would be looking to help the side return to the first division in Denmark. He will not be alone, as Jammerbugt have eight Nigerian players in their ranks.
