The Super Eagles star just arrived in Bergamo, but he seems to have made an impression on his coach
Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has admitted that Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has quality, whilst likening him to his teammate and former Chelsea man Jeremie Boga.
Lookman made the switch from the German Bundesliga, leaving RB Leipzig for Atalanta two weeks ago. And the 24-year-old has made himself quite at home.
Gasperini is aware of the talent of the former Everton man, and he believes Lookman would fit into the team like a perfectly tailored suit.
“Lookman has already shown that he has quality, he will have no difficulty in fitting in,” Gasperini said as per Tuttosport.
“He is certainly someone who arrives inside the area. He differs from midfielders in terms of this ability. Ademola is a solution as well as Boga”.
Up next for Atalanta is a fixture against champions AC Milan. Gasperini has a tough decision to make because Lookman showed his brilliance against Sampdoria.
The Super Eagles star could get his first start in a Nerazzurri shirt against Milan on Sunday.
