The Super Eagles forward just had a lot of good memories in Moscow, and he is willing to create more in Berlin
Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke has stated that he wants to help his new side Hertha Berlin improve on their performance of last season.
Ejuke joined Hertha-Berlin from six-time Russian champions CSKA Moscow on a season-long loan transfer. The Super Eagles star moves to the Bundesliga after two successful seasons in Russia.
However, Ejuke has a tough task ahead of him in Berlin.
The talented attacking midfielder joins a Hertha Berlin that have barely avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth in the last two seasons.
In fact, the Alte dam were the third-lowest scoring side in the Bundesliga last season.
Still, Ejuke is excited at the prospect of playing in the German top flight and wants to create a lot of memories at his new employers.
“I know that last season didn’t go to plan,” Ejuke told the Hertha website.
“But we’re all here together now to start a new campaign, and I want to have some great moments with the team.
Hertha Berlin scored a paltry 37 goals last season and had to play in the Bundesliga playoffs to survive relegation.
Nonetheless, Ejuke would look to change his side’s fortune and help them with his jaw-dropping dribbles and brilliant attacking plays.
