The English Premier League champions have already said goodbyes to a number of players this summer, but more may still follow the exit doors
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the potential transfer of Manchester City youngster Sam Edozie to Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Romano, Bayer Leverkusen are still interested in signing Edozie, and talks continue between the Bundesliga campaigners and Man City.

Soccernet.ng earlier reported, via the same source, that Bayer have tabled a two-year contract for the Anglo-Nigerian winger as they look to help him continue his development in Germany.
Edozie has shone brightly for the Manchester City under-23 team, but the 19-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.
Manchester City have already sanctioned the sale of Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Zinchenko to Arsenal and Raheem Sterling to Chelsea. But the Blues have equally signed Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, and Kalvin Phillips to boost an already competitive team.
It may be even more difficult for Edozie to get a first-team look-in at City next term.
The young attacker did not make a single appearance as Pep Guardiola’s men romped to the Premier League title last season.
And Edozie’s only senior team showing since joining the Citizens is starting in the Community Shield defeat to Kelechi Iheanacho’s Leicester City last year.
The Super Eagles eligible forward can take a massive step towards developing into a fine attacking force with regular football in the German Bundesliga.
