Club Brugge sign one-cap Nigerian forward

The Nigerian-Finnish forward has joined the Belgian team as she put pen to paper on a deal

Roosa Ariyo has joined Club Brugge Femini after signing a deal on Friday.

The deal sees the former Tenerife and Real Betis player team up with Club YLA on a permanent transfer.

She last played at Betis and also had her formative years in Finland where she was born to a Nigerian father and a Finnish mother.

The attacker represented the Finnish national team at the U-20 level and has had just one appearance for the Super Falcons.

She has played for KiPS, Honka and Jitex in the past before switching to the Spanish League where she played for just a season before moving.

Ariyo had earlier signed for Real Betis but the move didn't last as she found Belgium as the right spot to continue her football career.

She wasn't invited as past of the Super Falcons team for the 2022 WAFCON.
