Report: Crystal Palace beat Manchester United, Tottenham, Monaco to signing of Nigeria-eligible forward

The youngster has attracted interest from some top teams in England and France, but he has opted to join the Eagles

Nigeria-eligible forward Malcolm Ebiowei has snubbed interests from Manchester United, Tottenham, and Monaco to join Crystal Palace this summer as per reports.

Ebiowei attracted interest after his performance of last season with relegated Championship side Derby County. The London-born forward quickly formed a reputation within months later his promotion to the Rams’ first team.

Reports have linked the 18-year-old forwardReports have linked the 18-year-old forward to Manchester United, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, and Monaco this summer.

However, according to DailyMail, the youngster has chosen to join Crystal Palace in a deal that is believed to be worth at least €1million.

Ebiowei’s move is likely one for the future considering the talent available at Selhurst Park. Nonetheless, under manager Patrick Viera he could get his chances.

Ebiowei currently features for the English youth teams but he is still eligible to play for Nigeria through his parents.
