Brentford and Crystal Palace enter race for Super Eagles star

The Super Eagles star had a stellar campaign last season, and he has attracted interest from a host of Premier League clubs

Premier League sides Brentford and Crystal Palace have joined counterparts West Ham, Leeds, and Aston Villa in the race to sign Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis from Watford this summer.

Watford were relegated last season, but Dennis was the spark in their bleak campaign. The Super Eagles star took to English football like fish to the water as he scored ten and assisted six in 33 Premier League appearances.

However, following relegation from the English top-flight, the Hornets would be looking to profit from selling some of their brightest stars, one of whom is Dennis.

Watford would be willing to let Dennis go for about £20million, and Leeds, Aston Villa, and West Ham have been linked to the 24-year-old.

However, the race to sign Dennis could get tougher, as Watford Observer reports that Brentford and Crystal Palace are interested in the former Club Brugge man.

Brentford are looking to stay afloat and push for a higher place on the Premier League table next season, while Patrick Viera would want to consolidate on his team’s performance last season.

Dennis would be a suitable addition to both teams, as he has an incredible work rate, coupled with an excellent eye for goal.
