AC Milan-linked Nigerian star to choose Juventus over Inter Milan

Three of the biggest clubs in the Italian topflight are poised to go head-on for one of the revelations of the season

Serie A giants Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan are interested in signing Italian-born Nigerian defender Destiny Udogie, following the youngster’s impressive performance in his debut campaign in the Italian first division.

On-loan from Hellas Verona, Udogie has been one of the standout performers for Udinese, helping the Little Zebras finish tenth on the league table.

The 19-year-old offered pace, power, and vision down the left flank either as a full-back or a wing-back and added eight-goal contributions (five goals and three assists) in 37 Serie A appearances.

His excellent displays have not gone unnoticed, with Italy’s biggest clubs, including champions AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Juventus, linked to a permanent move for the youth international.

But according to Sports Mediaset (via FC Inter), Udogie prefers a move to Juventus and will choose the Bianconeri when offers begin to come in for him in the summer.

The youngster envisages that he would be assured of more playing time in head coach Max Allegri’s team, with first-choice full-back Alex Sandro performing below expectations this term.
