Jose Peseiro is in the United States with his assistants and has met a few players and his Nigerian assistants
Ahead of Nigeria’s friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador, Super Eagles coach, Peseiro has met with his Nigerian assistants including Finidi George, Salisu Yusuf, Usman Abdallah and Ike Shorunmu. Match analyst Eboboritse Uwejamomere is also in the US.
Peseiro, who came with fitness coach, Maykel Moreira, Acacio Santos and Vitor Hugo also met with the thirteen players on ground.
So far, thirteeen players are in the camp of the Super Eagles including Adewale Adeyinka, Ojo Olorunleke, Chiamaka Madu, Rafiu Ishaq, Victor Mbaoma, Ibrahim Buhari, Sanni Faisal, Bello, William Troost-Ekong, Moses Simon, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina and Babatunde Bello.
Seventeen players are still expected to team up with the squad in the United States as Nigeria trade tackles with the World Cup-bound South American and North American teams.
The game will be Peseiro’s first in charge of the Nigerian team after the NFF confirmed his appointment some weeks ago.
