Premier League new boys ready ₦3.1billion for Okija-born star

The Nigerian defender has been brilliant in the Turkish league all season, and his displays could earn him a move to the Premier League this summer

Newly promoted Premier League side Fulham are willing to pay €7million to Fenerbahce to secure the service of Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The Okija-born right-back has been brilliant for Fenerbahce since he joined from QPR in January 2021.

This season, Osayi-Samuel has made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Yellow Canaries, bagging two goals and five assists.

The 24-year-old has quick feet and is defensively sound.

There were reports earlier linking Osayi-Samuel with a move to Everton. However, the toffees are not the only one looking in his direction, as sporzen reports that Fulham are offering €7million for the former Blackpool man.

The Cottagers would need reinforcements as they return to the English top-flight after a one-year absence. And with the possible return of Neco Williams to his parent club Liverpool, Osayi-Samuel could be the perfect buy.
