Osimhen to earn ₦114million for helping Napoli qualify for Champions League

The Super Eagles talisman is one of the highest-paid Nigerian stars, and he would earn more after his exploits with the Partenopeans

Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen will earn €260,300 (₦114million) in bonuses for helping Napoli qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Last season was disappointing for Napoli, as a closing day draw at home to Hellas Verona ensured that the Partenopeans would miss out on Champions League football by just a point.

However, the Spalletti-led lads have risen from last season’s failure. Osimhen has been the livewire, scoring 13 goals and assisting five in 25 appearances to not just Napoli qualify for the European holy grail with three games to spare but also challenge for the Scudetto.

According to Marca, there is a clause in Osimhen’s contract that would see the Nigeria international go home with €260,300 (₦114million) if Napoli qualifies for the Champions League.

Despite links with a move abroad, the former Lille star would look to carry out great exploits when Napoli returns to the Champions League.
