The Super Eagles of Nigeria won’t be at the Qatar 2022 World Cup but the tournament will definitely continue.
Five African teams have picked up tickets to the competition and are joining 27 other countries from different parts of the world.
The most represented continent as usual is Europe with 12 teams with one still expected to join. Africa has 5 representatives while four teams has made it from South America so far with the possibility of one more making it to Qatar.
North America will be represented by Mexico, Canada and the United States – the three countries hosting the 2026 World Cup by the way, while Asia is represented by hosts Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan and Iran.
