The Nigerian forward is only a few months into his second season in the Italian top-flight, but he is already close to hitting a landmark moment
Victor Osimhen’s Napoli will host Destiny Iyenoma Udogie’s Udinese at the Diego Maradona Stadium in an Italian Serie A matchday 30 clash on Saturday.
After netting a brilliant brace for the Neapolitans in the 2-1 victory at Verona last time out, Osimhen will be pumped up to hit his tenth goal of the season against the Little Zebras.

That is the same number of goals the Super Eagles striker bagged in his debut campaign in Italy, and it would have taken him four fewer matches to reach that height.
Should Osimhen grab goal number ten against Udinese, he would be entering the Italian record book as the first Nigerian in Serie A history to hit double figures in two different seasons.
Despite their illustrious careers in Italy, none of Nwankwo Kanu, Victor Nsofor Obinna, or Stephen Ayo Makinwa scored ten or more goals in a Serie A campaign.
Obafemi Martins came incredibly close, though, netting seven, 11 and nine Serie A goals before signing for Newcastle United in 2006.
After netting three and seven goals in his first two seasons in the elite division, Simy Nwankwo netted 20 league goals for Crotone last term. But the ex-Portimonense ace only followed it up with one Serie A goal for Salernitana this season before returning to Serie B with Parma.
Napoli are favourites to secure a win over Udinese, with Il Partenopei unbeaten in the last 11 top-flight matches against the Zebras.
