The Eagles boss is likely to lose his Chelsea import this summer, but he has already identified a replacement for the youngster

Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieria is interested in signing Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo as a replacement for Conor Gallagher.

Gallagher has been brilliant for the Eagles this season after he arrived on loan from Chelsea. The England international has scored seven goals and recorded three assists in 19 Premier League matches.

However, Gallagher is expected to return to Chelsea when his loan expires in the summer, which leaves Palace in need of a replacement.

And according to the Sun, the Eagles have already found their replacement in Aribo. The 25-year-old has been brilliant for Rangers this season, and he is in contention for player of the season in the Scottish Premiership.

Aribo's performances have been vital to Rangers quest to retain their league title. The Super Eagles star has six goals and four assists in 22 league games for the Gers this season.

Palace are likely to face competition from Leicester City and Aston Villa, who are managed by Aribo's former manager at Rangers, Steven Gerrard.

The Nigerian international, who joined Rangers on a free transfer from Charlton, still has one and a half-year left on his contract at the Ibrox.
