Plumptre made her competitive debut for Nigeria in their 2-0 victory over Ivory Coast last week. She brought her outstanding club form to the international scene, maintaining a solid front to help the Super Falcons preserve their clean sheet.
At club level, she has put up outstanding performances. She has made two appearances for Leicester City Women this month, helping her side to two victories, with a goal to her name.
The Women's Super League have released their shortlist for player of the month for February, and the 23-year-old defender was recognised for her displays.
