A man on fire: Osimhen unstoppable as he goes clear in Europe’s top five leagues this month

The Super Eagles striker scored for the third game running to open the scoring for the Neapolitans in their Serie A clash against Cagliari

Victor Osimhen's became the joint-top scorer in Europe's top five leagues in September after he found the back of the net yet again in Napoli's match against Cagliari.

The Nigerian international opened the scoring in the 11th minute, stabbing home from close range following a Piotr Zieliński.

It's his sixth strike in the last four games for Napoli, and no player has scored more in all competitions in Europe's top five leagues this month.

The Nigerian was a thorn in the flesh of Cagliari defenders, who failed to cope with his strength and physicality for the 77 minutes he was on the pitch.

Napoli went into the break with a 1-0 lead, but they doubled their advantage in the 57th minute from the spot, with Osimhen playing an influential role.

The former Lille man was upended by Diego Godin in the box after initially beating him with his strength to get into the area. Lorenzo Insigne then stepped up to convert the resulting penalty and seal a 2-0 win for the Neapolitans.

The result takes Napoli back to the top of the Serie A table with six wins out of six.

Oshimen shud just avoid dangerous tackles not to get injury. He wil score at least one goal per match . So in 36 matches bearing any unforeseen condition he shud be on 38 or 39 goals this season.

Oshimen no doubt is strong and doing well but Onuachu has overtaken him with his hatrick just yesterday to takis tally to nine. We pray that all the super eagles in Europe continue to do well, it will be advantageous during AFCON and the mundial proper.

But Osimhen is in one of the top five leagues while Onuachu is in the weaker Belgian league.

Osihmen is roaring to go,but the most important thing is consistency.
He should strive hard to be considered in nomination for the CAF This year.
I wish him all the best.
