The new football season has kicked off, and Saturday was a good day at the office for Nigerian stars across different European Leagues
Victor Osimhen was one of the many Nigerian stars that had a fantastic performance for their clubs over the weekend.

Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, both featured as a Jamie Vardy strike against Wolves, got Leicester City off to a good start in the Premier League.
On Friday, Frank Onyeka had a debut to remember as Brentford stunned Arsenal 2-0 in their first top-flight match since 1947.
In France, Terem Moffi opened his account for the season, scoring from the penalty spot to help Lorient to a 1-0 win over Monaco.
Taiwo Awoniyi also got off to a good start as he scored a brilliant goal to help Union Berlin to a 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Meanwhile, Chidera Ejuke provided an assist in CSKA Moscow’s 3-1 win at FC Rostov. The Super Eagles winger set up Fedor Chalov’s second goal, sandwiched between strikes from Jaka Bijol and Konstantin Maradishvili.
