Former Super Eagles star Victor Moses and English-born Nigerian youngster Noni Madueke were both on target for their respective clubs in the friendly games that both teams played.
Moses started for his Spartak Moscow side as they took on fellow Russian team, Rubin Kazan. Moses opened the scoring for Spartak from the penalty spot in the tenth minute.
It’s his third goal in pre-season games. He was vital for his Moscow side as his constant attacks helped them push back the Rubin Kazan defence.
Spartak Moscow went on to win 4-0 after second-half goals from Sobolev, Dobnin and Dzhikiya. Moses played for the entire duration of the game.
Meanwhile, Noni Madueke also scored the first and only goal as PSV Eindhoven ran out 1-0 winners against Greek giants PAOK, who had Anderson Esiti in their side.
The Nigeria-eligible star was on target in the 25th minute of the game. Madueke only featured for the first 45 minutes of the encounter.
