The Nazaries did excellently well without their Nigerian import last term and are willing to let him leave this summer
Granada are looking to offload Ramon Olamilekan Azeez this transfer window as the Spaniards consider the Nigerian midfielder surplus to requirements.
Azeez joined the Nazaries in 2019 for just over half a million euros, but the three-year contract he signed that January would expire next year.
The 28-year-old presently has an estimated market value of €800,000, which should not be too steep a transfer fee for any interested suitor to cough out.
And as per Gada3, there is a long line of admiring clubs linked with making a move for the Super Eagles star, including lower league sides Fuenlabrada and Real Zaragoza.
Such a move will see Azeez return to the Segunda Division, where he spent the second half of the season playing for struggling Cartagena. No club has, however, made any move for the former Almeria ace.
Granada, who finished 9th last term while Azeez was away on loan, are reportedly considering terminating the central midfielder’s contract if they receive no offer for his services.
Azeez is a veteran of the Spanish first and second-tier leagues, where he has played since moving to the country as a teenager in 2011.
The former Golden Eaglets star has made 176 appearances across La Liga and La Liga 2, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.
Aside from Almeria, Cartagena, and Granada, Azeez has also featured for CD Lugo.
