in News, NewsNow, Nigeria

The former Super Eagles captain has the respect of many of his peers from his playing days, including a former England international

Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Peter Crouch can't just get enough of Austin Jay-Jay Okocha after the former England international revealed he could watch the magician all day.

Jay-Jay Okocha was a magician on the ball during his playing days. The former Super Eagles captain is one of the greatest entertainers the beautiful game has seen.

Okocha was famous for his trickery on the ball, amazing step-overs and dead-ball skills. He was a fan-favourite at every club he played for.

It's not just the fans that admire Okocha but also his fellow players, including Crouch. The ex-Portsmouth man said: “Could watch the player all day.”

Crouch was reacting to a video showing Okocha's magic on the ball from his Bolton days. He's not the only former player to have praised the ex-PSG man.

Back in 2017, Brazil legend Ronaldinho also said Okocha, along with Carlos Valderrama, is the only No 10 he ever admired in the history of the game.
