Borussia Dortmund’s move for Noni Madueke seems to have suffered a setback. According to reports from the Eindhoven daily newspaper, PSV have stated that they have no plans to sell the 19-year-old, except they get a mega offer.
The highly-rated winger is one of the hottest prospects in Dutch football, and the Black and Yellows see him as a replacement for Manchester United bound Jadon Sancho.
Reports from RuhrNachrichten stated that Madueke’s father and his agent were already at Dortmund last week, but there was no concrete agreement.
Last week Soccernet reported per Ruhr Nachrichten via BVB Buzz that Dortmund had their sights set on the proficient forward. But with Madueke still left with three years in his contract, the Eindhoven side is under no pressure to sell.
It also gives them better leverage to hike his transfer fee. The former Tottenham academy man is worth €16m, according to transfermarkt, but Dortmund would need to cough out way more than that to capture their man.
