Nigerian players are have been making use of their time-off after a long and gruelling 2020/2021 European football season.

Unlike their European, South American, Asian and North American counterparts, African players are not on international duty this summer.

European players are currently representing their countries at Euro 2020, while Copa America is currently underway in South America.

The Asian 2022 World Cup qualifiers are currently being played- same with countries in North America- who still have the Gold Cup to play later this summer.

African players were also scheduled to start their World Cup Qualifying campaign this summer, but it was postponed to September because some stadiums did not meet FIFA requirements.

With no competitive engagements, African stars have been making the most of their time-off, and Nigerian players are not left out.

Among them is William Troost-Ekong, who has been enjoying time with his family in Ibiza, Spain. The Super Eagles shared a picture on Instagram of himself and his son, while his wife was also not left out either.

Meanwhile, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have been on promotion assignments. The inseparable Leicester City duo just signed an endorsement deal with DSTV.

Also, Semi Ajayi enjoyed himself in a fancy restaurant while Tyronne Ebuehi was on an adventure.

The players are expected to return to their clubs for pre-season training next month, so it’s important they enjoy this moment.

As the popular saying goes, all work without no play makes Jack a dull boy.
