The former Heerenveen winger was the star for The Horses, while the ex-Golden Eaglets star helped his club to move within just one point from safety in the Spanish second division
Chidera Ejuke scored and was voted man of the match in CSKA Moscow’s 2-0 victory over FC Rotor Volgograd in the Russian Premier League on Monday night.
Ejuke opened the scoring for the home side on the stroke of halftime before Jose Salomon Rondon scored the second in the 70th minute to maintain Ivica Olic’s 100% record as CSKA manager.
The Super Eagles star has now scored three goals in 20 league matches for the Russian side this season. Ejuke has had an underwhelming campaign with CSKA, but he was impressive last night.
He was a menace down the flank with eight successful dribbles, while he also had an 82% pass accuracy. The former Heerenveen star hard work did not go unnoticed as he was voted the man of the match.

Meanwhile, in Spain, forgotten Nigerian star Kelechi Nwakali was the hero after he fired in the winner to help Alcorcón to a 2-1 victory over Castellón.
Xisco put Alcorcón ahead in the fourth minute, but Adrián Lapeña restored parity for the away side in the 22nd minute.
It stayed like that until Nwakali popped up in the 73rd minute to fire home the winner through a well-taken freekick.

It was the 22-year-old’s second goal for Alcorcón since he joined them from Huesca.
Good report, but one wrong information.
This is Nwakali’s second goal since joining Alcorcón. He scored his first on the 2nd minute of Alcorcón’s encounter with Oviedo on March 30, 2021. The game eventually ended a draw as Oviedo equalised through Gustavo Blanco on the 84th minute of that game.
So far Nwakali has had a positive impact on Alcorcón. His performance so far has been impressive and the youngster may very well be on his way to achieving his full potentials in the near future.
