The team’s preparations have been hampered by some club’s refusal to release their players, but there are still many familiar names in the squad.
The Super Eagles play their final two 2021 Afcon qualifiers this month. The three-time African champions take on the Benin Republic in Port Novo on Saturday, March 27, before hosting Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium three days later.
Gernot Rohr’s men need just a point from the two games to seal qualification for the tournament set to be played in Cameroon between January and February 2022.
