Egyptian Premier League side Ghazl El Mahallah have suspended the Nigerian duo of Odo Moses and Emmanuel Agbettor for various infractions just days after signing the players.
Moses recently completed his move from rivals Misr El-Makkasa to Ghazl El-Mahalla in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old attacker signed a two-year contract expected to keep him at the club until the summer of 2022.
Ghazal El-Mahalla, which clinched promotion back to the Egyptian Premier League four years after being relegated to the second division, also sealed a sensational move for former ENPPI midfielder Emmanuel Agbettor.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder is a veteran of Egyptian football and is well known to fans, having represented the likes of El-Dakhleya, ENPPI, and Petrojet during his career.
The duo has, however, not enjoyed a fine start to life at El-Mahalla as the club released a statement announcing their suspensions.
The statement, as per Kingfut, explained that Moses was suspended for a financial dispute while Agbettor was sanctioned for a training bust-up with teammate Mahmoud Salah.
Reports have it that Agbettor had a clash with Salah during training over refusal to pay for sneakers purchased from his teammate.
Both players have begun serving their suspension as they were not involved in Ghazl El-Mahalla’s 1-1 draw at home to Aswan on Thursday afternoon.
Before their misdemeanour, both Agbettor and Moses had featured in four games each for the Egyptian Premier League side.
