The Super Eagles captain is currently without a club and has been keeping fit at a training ground in his native Kano
Ahmed Musa was seen training with a group of local players in Kano as he tries to stay in shape while he waits on a new club.
The Nigerian captain has been without a club since he left Saudi Arabian Professional League club, Al-Nassr, in October.
However, to keep fit as he searches for a new team, Musa has been training in his hometown of Kano. The 28-year-old with the nickname ‘The Governor’ uploaded a training video of him and a group of local players on his Twitter page.
He added a caption with the message “Done for today” to the video. The former Leicester City was in high spirit in the video and even managed to dribble several players- although he could only put the resulting strike over the bar.

Before his time at Al-Nassr, Musa had spells at Leicester City, CSKA Moscow and VV-Venlo, which was where his career in Europe started.
The Super Eagles captain has been linked with a move to Turkey and Sheffield Wednesday- although he has since denied the report.
