Reports: Super Eagles Star Put Up For Sale

He only signed a five-year deal last summer, Alex Iwobi could be on his way out of Everton before the transfer window shuts

Super Eagles star, Alex Iwobi is among a host of names that is surplus to requirements at Goodison Park and could leave if a suitable offer comes in for him.

The Nigerian international joined Everton from Arsenal for 35 million pounds last year, but after a promising start, Iwobi’s performances dropped, leading to criticism from Toffees fans.

And with James Rodriguez, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan all joining Carlo Ancelotti’s side this summer, Iwobi is in for a difficult season.

The Nigerian international was not named in the Everton’s squad that stunned Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League opener on Sunday.

Also, according to the Mirror per Daily Mail, Everton are hoping to recoup the money they spent on their new signings, and have decided to place Iwobi on the transfer market.

Moise Kean, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Bernard and Theo Walcott are some of the other names that could follow Iwobi out of Merseyside.
