The Franco-German tactician is making plans ahead of Nigeria’s friendly games against the two former African champions
Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has invited Maduka Okoye for next month’s international friendly matches against Cote d’Ivoire and Tunisia.
The Super Eagles face the Elephants on October 9th in Austria before taking on the Carthage Eagles four days later in the same country.
Ahead of the game, Rohr has been drawing up a list of players that will be involved. The 67-year-old has already extended an invitation to Cyriel Dessers.
It has now been revealed that Okoye has also been called-up. This was confirmed in a statement released by Okoye’s club, Sparta Rotterdam.

Okoye was on the bench when Sparta took on Ajax in their opening Eredivisie game last Sunday.
