Algeria Star Praises Osimhen’s Impact At Napoli

The Super Eagles star has started well with the Italian side, and that has left one of his new teammates impressed

Algerian internationalFaouzi Ghoulam has praised Victor Osimhen's quality, saying he is a great player and hopes he scores a lot of goals with the Gli Azzurri.  Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille for a club record and African record fee of 81 million euros including add-ons.

The Nigerian international has wasted no time in settling in quickly at his new club. In his first game for the side, Osimhen scored a hat-trick in the space of seven minutes as Napoli thrashed L'Aquila.

He backed up the performance with another hat-trick in Friday's win over Teramo. Following the pre-season friendly, Osimhen's teammate, Ghoulam says the Nigerian has been a positive influence among the players.

“We are improving with 4-2-3-1. Osimhen is a great footballer, he will have a lot of fun with his teammates, Ghoulam said.  We hope he scores many goals, his role is very important for the fans.”

The 21-year-old will hope to carry his pre-season form into the new Serie A campaign which begins in a fortnight.
