One of the greatest accomplishments for a player is to represent his country at the international level, and for the former Nassarawa player, he hopes to do that with Nigeria
Jordan Kadiri has revealed his dream is to play for the Super Eagles, although he insists it is not a priority right now.
Kadiri is one of Nigeria’s bright prospects in Europe. The 20-year-old featured for Swedish top division side, Ostersund, last campaign.
In just 14 games, the 20-year-old scored six times and registered three assists for the Swedish side. His displays earned him a move to Belgian second division club, Lommel SK, who paid 1.2 million euros for his services.
While his club career is moving at the right trajectory, Kadiri is yet to feature for Nigeria at any level. Nonetheless, he hopes to play for the national team in the future.
When asked if he dreams of playing for Nigeria in an interview with Kulikuli football, Kadiri said: “Yea yea, I said to my agent, I’ll play in the national team, and he said sure.”
But it is not something he’s thinking of right now as he is focused on his club football.
“And I don’t stress myself about that you know, I just need to keep on working hard, and you keep working towards your dream,” Kadiri added.
