Ndidi Reveals His Biggest Critic

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, has revealed that his wife, Chidinma, is his number one critic, and he doesn’t joke with her criticisms, because she is always honest and wants him to succeed.

Ndidi and Chidinma got married in May 2019 in Abuja in a ceremony attended by Super Eagles’ players, Nollywood Celebrities and Football Administrators.

The Couple announced the arrival of their first child In May 2020 named Jaina. Chidinma looks out for ways the Leicester City star can improve his game, and she is always honest with her opinion.

“My circle of friends is very small, and they are people who are straight in their assertions. Even at Leicester City, the players, the coaches, and the staff are straight with me.

“That alone is like an encouragement to me; they make me understand life in general and how I am performing.

“Kudos also must go to my wife; she is always honest with me as it concerns my game, telling me the right things and I don’t joke with her criticisms because I know she wants me to be a better player and my boss at Leicester too,” he said in an interview with the Super Eagles media team.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from Leicester City, with the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Chelsea rumoured to be interested in the Super Eagles midfield enforcer.

The Former Genk star has been impressive for Leicester City in the Premier League before the league was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Ndidi is currently a student of business and management at the De Montfort University (DMU), a public university in Leicester.
