In a new development, the new coach have jetted to Ikenne, alongside the Technical Director of the NFF, Augustine Eguavoen, where the lads have camped in preparation for the tournament.

Stand-in Super Eagles coach, Ogunmodede, alongside his two other colleagues, played a key role in securing the ticket for the CHAN Eagles against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

In Accra, the Super Eagles home based team secured a toothless draw before playing host to the Ghanaian side in Uyo, where they secured a comfortable 3-1 victory to book their place at the upcoming tournament.

With Ogunmodede, Ilechukwu, and Baruwa’s familiarity with the team, it is expected that their cohesion will strengthen the squad’s unity and boost their chances of success at CHAN.
