The former Wolfsburg striker will slug it out with Renato Sanches and Benjamin André, who were twice voted Player of The Month.
Meanwhile, Simon scored five goals and registered five assists in 26 league appearances for Les Canaries before the season was cancelled. The winger moved to the French side on loan from Spanish La Liga side, Levante in the summer.
The former Gent star is Nantes joint top scorer with nine goals alongside Ludovic Blas. He has been linked with a permanent move to Nantes in the summer after impressing the club's hierarchy on loan.
