Reports: Clubs Put On Alert As Bordeaux Make Decision On Josh Maja

The Nigerian forward is set for a move away from France this summer just one and a half years after arriving Bordeaux.

According to an exclusive report by Football Insider, Girondins Bordeaux have revealed they are willing to listen to offers this summer for Super Eagles star Josh Maja.

The Nigerian forward is attracting interests from top clubs across Europe, after netting 22 goals in 52 league matches for both Sunderland and Bordeaux over the last couple of seasons.

Despite maintaining that he’s happy in France, the young striker who cost Les Girondins €1.5 million could be ready for a big-money move this summer.

Crystal Palace are keen on bringing Maja back to England while Celtic and Rangers are set to continue their rivalry off the pitch in pursuit of the 21-year-old.

AC Milan also have their eyes set on the former Sunderland man, who is seen as the long-term replacement for the ageing Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Maja is Bordeaux’s joint-second most prolific striker this term, and any suitor coming in for the London-born attacker should be ready to match or even better his current £57,000-a-week wages.
