Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has joined the “SafeHandsChallenge” which shows people how to fight the coronavirus.
The pandemic which originated from China has killed over 7,000 people worldwide and has stalled activities in several countries.
Italy have the highest number of reported cases outside China, and it is currently on a total lockdown. At the same time, Spain have ordered a partial lockdown, while several European countries have banned large gatherings.
The outbreak has also affected sporting competitions across the world with several European Leagues currently on suspension.
The Euro 2020 and Copa America have also been moved to next year due to the outbreak of the virus. The UEFA Champions League and Europa League are currently on hold until the epidemic is contained.
To prevent the spread of the virus, celebrities, athletes joined the #safehandschallenge. It shows people how they can avoid the virus by washing their hands in the right way.
Former Nigeria international, Vincent Enyeama, also joined the challenge, urging the people to wash their hands to save the world.
