These are happy times for Odion Ighalo after he scored a brace for Manchester United in the Red Devils FA Cup win over Derby County at Pride Park.

Luke Shaw gave United the lead with a perfect volley before Ighalo wriggled past two Derby defenders to slot home and double United’s advantage.

The former Nigeria international was handed his second start since he signed for Ole Gunnar Solskajaer’s men last January.

He scored in his first start which came in the Europa League win over Club Brugge, and he continued in the same vein on his second start as he doubled United’s advantage at Pride Park. The former Watford star scored his second and United’s third 20 minutes from time.

Ighalo could’ve had a hat-trick after he was set up by Andreas Pereira, but he could not keep his effort low.

Nevertheless, he would be satisfied with his two goals as Solskjaer’s men earned a quarter-final date with Norwich.
