It’s hard to see an argument that commands football fans attention like that of the Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo debate.

The two icons have been dominant players of the last ten years, winning 11 Ballon d’Ors of the previous 12 years.

It’s hard to pick who is better between these two greats, but that’s what Super Eagles star, Joe Aribo did. In a quickfire question on Super Eagles youtube page, the Rangers star was asked a couple of questions, one of which include Messi or Ronaldo.

While some player would have struggled to answer the difficult question, Aribo did not have that challenge as he went for Messi immediately.

When asked Messi or Ronaldo, Aribo said: “Messi, no brainer.”

The 23-year-old also revealed he would prefer to win the World Cup over the UEFA Champions League. On his music playlist, Aribo says he listens to Burna Boy, Wizkid, Meek Mill, Future and Drake.

Anyone with common sense, knows that it’s Messi. Hence, Aribo said “no brainer “.
