The Coronavirus is still affecting sporting events across the world, but people are trying to lighten the mood by creating the viral “stayhomechallenge.”

The pandemic has caused leagues across Europe to be suspended while the Champions League and Europa League have also been postponed.

Italy, which has the highest number of reported cases outside of China, is currently on total lockdown. At the same time, Spain has declared a partial lockdown. In contrast, France and Germany have banned massive gatherings.

As a result, people are advised to stay at home, and it led to the “stayhomechallenge.” But while staying at home, they record a video of what they have been doing to pass the time.

Footballers are also participating in the challenge, but it involves the juggling of a toilet paper. Super Eagles stars are not left out as they were seen taking on the challenge.

In a video uploaded by 9ja_footballers, several Nigerian stars were seen juggling a toilet paper in their rooms.

In the video, Lille’s hotshot, Victor Osimhen, was challenged by Bursaspor’s Abdullahi Shehu. The former Royal Charleroi striker then challenged his Super Eagles teammate, Samuel Chukwueze.

Some of the leagues are expected to resume on the first weekend of April, but it depends on the situation’s progress.
