Arsenal’s rave of the moment, Bukayo Saka is set to sign a new contract with the club.

The 18-year-old has been a shining light for the Gunners this season with series of eye-catching performances that has endeared him to the club’s supporters.

He has been tipped to become the next superstar to come out of the club’s famed academy.

The young star has less than 18 months left in his current contract at the Emirates Stadium, and there have been rumours that Arsenal could lose one of their most prized assets.

But, according to Italian Sports Journalist, Nicolo Shira, Saka is close to signing a new contract with the Gunners.

Saka is naturally a winger, but he has impressed as an emergency left-back, churning out impressive performances in an unfamiliar role. He is the player with the most assists this season for Arsenal.

Saka joined the club since he was a child and made his debut in a Europa League clash with Vorskla Poltava.

The 18-year-old has made 29 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions, he has found the back of the net three times and has nine assists to his name.
