The local league was thrown into mourning after the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) allegedly killed the assistant captain of Remo stars, Tiamiyu Kazeem.

The Nigerian National League (NNL) side announced this in a series of post on their Twitter account. According to the details, the player nicknamed ‘Kaka’ was driving around Shagamu area in Ogun state before SARS officers apprehended him.

He was allegedly accused of being a criminal the SARS official. However, despite showing revealing his identity as a player of Remo stars, the SARS officer refused to listen.

This reportedly led to an argument between the player and SARS officials. According to reports made available by Remo stars, SARS officials were taking Kazeem to the nearest police station.

But on their way, the player questioned the officials on where they are going as there was no police station in sight. This reportedly prompted the officers to push the player out of the car into a moving vehicle.
