Santi Cazorla has revealed that Arsenal are interested in the services of Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze and his club teammate Pau Torres.

The former Arsenal star reveals the club have asked him about his two Villarreal teammates and the Gunners are set to make a summer move for them.

Chukwueze is attracting interest from a host of clubs across Europe following his impressive performances for the Yellow Submarines.

According to a report, Liverpool made a bid for the 20-year-old last month, but it was rejected by Villarreal. The Nigeria international is also reportedly attracting interest from Chelsea.

However, Arsenal appear to have the edge over their two premier league rivals with the Gunners using Carzola’s influence.

The Spain international who now plays for Villarreal had a successful six-year period with Arsenal before leaving in 2018.

Speaking about his two teammates at Estadio de la Cerámica, Cazorla revealed the Gunners have enquired about their services, but he wants them to remain at the club.

‘They ask me about them and think they can make the jump to the Premiership tomorrow. It’s good that great teams are interested in young players from Villarreal, but for the moment I tell them to leave them alone here, Carzola said in quotes gotten from Dailymail.

‘They still have to take steps forward. They both have a great personality, and their feet are on the ground,” he added.

Chukwueze has featured 26 times for Villarreal this season, scoring four times, and registering the same number of assists.
