Betting Tips: Weekend Games That Could Double Your Money

Action continues across Europe’s top five leagues this weekend as we approach the final quarter of the 2019/2020 campaign.

The title race in Spain, Italy and Germany enters a critical stage, while Liverpool and PSG are champions-elect in the Premier League and Ligue 1.

However, the battle to avoid the drop and the race for Europe is still on with some big clashes taking place this weekend.

With all the top five leagues in action this weekend, Soccernet.ng in its usual traditions is giving betting tips on some selected matches.

Norwich vs Liverpool (Premier League): It’s now a matter of when not if Liverpool will win their first league title in 30 years.

The Reds are currently 22 points clear of champions, Man City, and could extend the lead when they travel to Carrow Road to take on Norwich.

Jurgen Klopp’s side need just 18 points to secure to win the League, and they will be confident of taking the first maximum points when they take on Daniel Farke’s men.

Match Facts:

Liverpool have won their last 16 matches (Premier League).

Liverpool have scored at least two goals in 30 of their last 34 matches (Premier League).

Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in nine of their last ten matches (Premier League).

Liverpool have scored at least three goals in seven of their last eight matches against Norwich in all competitions.

Betting Tips: Jurgen Klopp may make changes to his side as they resume the defence of their Champions League crown next week when they travel to Madrid to take on Atletico Madrid.

However, irrespective of the team he puts out, Liverpool should pick the three points against a Norwich side that have just one win in their last six games. (Liverpool win and Over 2.5)

Barcelona vs Getafe (La Liga): It’s been an underwhelming season for Barcelona by their standards. The Blaugrana are out of the Copa Del Rey while they are also three points behind Real Madrid in the Spanish topflight.

However, they have the chance to go level at the top at least for 24 hours with Madrid not playing until Sunday. Quique Setien’s men welcome high-flyers Getafe on Saturday.

The Azulones have been the surprise package of the season as they sit in third place with 42 points, seven points behind their opponents on Saturday.

They go into clash following a comprehensive win over Valencia last weekend. Barcelona meanwhile go into the encounter after a hard-fought win over Real Betis last week.

Match Facts:

Barcelona have scored at least two goals in 22 of their last 26 home matches (LaLiga).

Barcelona have been winning at both half time and full time in eight of their last ten home matches (LaLiga).

Barcelona have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last nine matches against Getafe in all competitions.

Getafe have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last nine matches (LaLiga).

Getafe have won their last four matches (LaLiga).

Betting Tips: Getafe have won their last four games, so this is not going to be easy for Barcelona. Nevertheless, you will expect the qualities in their side to give them the edge. (Barcelona win or Over 2.5)

Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo (La Liga): Although Madrid lead the table, they haven’t been exceptional this season. Like their rivals, Madrid are also out of the Copa Del Rey.

However, they can take satisfaction from the fact that they currently lead the table with three points, and will be hoping to maintain that when they take on Celta Vigo on Sunday.

Zinedine Zidane’s men thrashed Osasuna last time out and will be eager to continue in that form when they welcome Os Celestes.

Match Facts:

Real Madrid have seen over 2.5 goals in 12 of their last 13 matches against Celta Vigo in all competitions.

Celta Vigo have failed to win 22 of their last 23 away matches (LaLiga).

Real Madrid have won 8 of their last ten home matches (LaLiga).

Betting Tips: Celta Vigo sit in 17th place, and should pose no threat to Real Madrid. But Los Blancos have shown flaws in some games they were expected to win this season, so this may be a tricky one. (Real Madrid win or Over 2.5)

Juventus vs Brescia (Serie A): Juventus relinquished their lead at the top last week following a shock 2-1 loss at Hella Verona.

The Old Lady were three points clear before that encounter, but are now behind Inter on goal difference following the Nerazzurri’s 4-2 win over city rivals, AC Milan.

Nevertheless, they will hope to regain the top spot when they host Brescia on Sunday. Inter play Lazio who are the third and final part of an intriguing title race.

Sarri has come in for heavy criticism, and his case was not helped after Juventus needed a controversial Cristiano Ronaldo penalty to salvage a draw in the first leg of their Coppa Italia clash against AC Milan.

Match Facts:

Juventus are undefeated in their last 32 home matches (Serie A).

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Juventus’s last 11 games (Serie A).

Juventus have won their last six home matches against Brescia in all competitions.

Juventus have scored at least two goals in ten of their last 11 home matches (Serie A).

Betting Tips: With a lot at stake, anything other than a Juventus win will be a huge shock. Brescia are 19th and are winless in their last six games. (Juventus win)

FC Koln vs Bayern Munich(Bundesliga): Following last week’s stalemate against title rivals, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich will be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend.

They lead Leipzig by a point, but they could be playing catch up by the time they play on Sunday. Leipzig host Weder Bremen on Saturday and are expected to win, and that puts the pressure back on Bayern.

Koln may sit in 13th place, but they have won five of their last six matches.

Match Facts:

Bayern have won ten of their last 11 matches against FC Koln in all competitions.

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Bayern‘s last eight away games (Bundesliga).

FC Koln have won their last four home matches (Bundesliga).

Bayern have scored at least three goals in their last three away matches (Bundesliga).

FC Koln have been winning at both half time and full time in their last three home matches (Bundesliga).

Betting Tips: Bayern may be favourites on paper, but Koln’s form suggests this will be a tough one for the Bavaria giants. (Over 2.5).
