Nigeria international Joe Aribo was once again on the scorers’ sheet, but Steven Gerrard’s men dropped two precious points after managing a disappointing 2-2 draw with St Johnstone on Sunday.

Days after netting a brilliant solo effort in the 3-2 come-back defeat of Braga in the Europa League, Aribo struck again at the McDiarmid Park, but a late strike from May earned the hosts a share of the points.

Hendry had given the home side an early lead before super-sub Kamberi brought the Gers back on levelled terms shortly after the restart. Aribo thought he had smashed home the winner for the visitors in the 71st minute before the hosts’ sucker-punch equaliser.

The Light Blues now have 64 points after 27 games, but rivals and leaders, Celtic, are set to go 12 points clear with a victory at home to Kilmarnock. The champions have played one game more, though.

Fans of the Gers were left disappointed with the performance of the Ibrox side, with only Aribo and teammate Kamberi spared the fury of the Glasgow giants’ supporters.

Joe Aribo is on Fire 🔥 🔥 🔥 #RFC

What's happened our pressing game?
Katic and, Kent believing all the hype about them
Alfredo doesn't look sharp
Can't expect to lose 2 goals each game and win.
Only plus Kamberi and Aribo both outstanding. https://t.co/s1QapxC7Va

Not a single player busted a gut and even looked bothered, complete shitebags get them all to fuck. Flo & Aribo the only exceptions

To be honest if we are all truthful it was done at Tyncastle. If you looked at the stats the Tims are doing what they do after the winter break they win. We are playing like Aberdeen. Only Aribo and Kamberi look interested.

Problem is we had fuck all else oot at the left. Least aribo will go forward and try, win the game instead of rely on a horrendous centre half to see it oot

Me too Dave,
Aribo, Hagi, Kamberi, Pollster, Edmudson, Hellander, MacGregor and at a push Arfield and Defoe.

Everyone else have let the fans down. The Fans DEFINITELY deserve more fight and composure.
Start with forgetting the league, concentrate on the Cups https://t.co/ukjkPLopbJ

Any player who does not want to burst a gut for Gerrard & the fans can pick up their boots in the morning & find a new club. They are well paid, and picking their wages up under false pretences now. Only Kamberi & Aribo get pass marks.

Aribo has five goals and seven assists in all competitions so far for Rangers. The Nigerian only joined the Scottish giants at the start of the season after his contract ended with English side, Charlton Athletic.
