The Super Eagles midfielder has been tipped to make it big in the English Premier League should he decide to make the switch any time soon.
Former Leeds winger Noel Whelan has been left in awe of Joe Aribo’s football talents after the Nigeria international scored in Rangers’ commanding 3-0 win at Hibernian on Friday.
Aribo doubled the Gers lead just four minutes after Ryan Kent had scored the opener for Steven Gerrard’s men inside the game’s first five minutes.
The former Charlton Athletic midfielder glided unto a cute Ryan Jack cutback and planted a first time finish into the top corner to make it 2-0 on the night for the Ibrox giants.

Aribo has been a man reborn since Gerrard moved him from deep midfield to a more attacking role and the 22-year-old has delivered one impressive performance after another.
One of those drooling over the special abilities of the Nigerian is former Coventry City forward Noel Whelan.
Whelan is convinced that Aribo is one of the finest players at Steven Gerrard’s disposal and it would be difficult to keep him in Scotland for a long time.
“I’ve been impressed by him (Aribo),” Whelan told Football Insider.
“He’s good on the ball, got a great left foot and can play in tight spaces and with his back to goal.
“He’s at a different level to a lot of the Rangers players, no disrespect to them, and I can only see him improving under Steven Gerrard.
“You’re looking at a £20million player if he continues to improve. He’s definitely a Premier League player in the making.”
Aribo has made 30 appearances in all competitions for Rangers, scoring six goals and supplying four assists.
