The Nigerian teenager has been named among the best eleven players that featured in the last group matches of the Europa League on Thursday following his superb showing in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Standard Liege.
Bukayo Saka has made UEFA.com’s Europa League Team of the Week after his fine display for the Gunners in Belgium.
Also on the Team of the Week are Manchester United’s trio of Ashley Young, Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood. The three were part of the Red Devils squad that humbled AZ Alkmaar 4-0 at Old Trafford.
18-year-old winger, Saka, set up a goal for Alexandre Lacazette and then scored himself as the Gunners battled back from 2-0 down to earn a point at Liege, and progress to the Europa League’s last-32 as group winners.
Saka played most of the game on the night in an unfamiliar left wing-back role, but the youngster flourished in the position, and led the fightback after Arsenal had been 2-0 down with just 12 minutes remaining.

The point earned proved crucial, catapulting Freddie Ljungberg’s men back to the top of Group F after Frankfurt lost 3-2 to Vitoria in Thursday’s other group clash.
Saka’s performance has now been rewarded with a spot on UEFA’s Best XI, joining the three other Man United players.
