Arsenal Fans Urge Club To Sign Nigeria International At All Costs

The Gunners are expected to be active when the transfer window opens in a few days with new head coach Mikel Arteta reportedly poised to add Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi to the Arsenal ranks.

Wilfred Ndidi has been one of Leicester’s stand-out players so far this season, and the Nigeria international is believed to feature prominently on a list of transfer targets being drawn up by Mikel Arteta.

As the new Arsenal manager polishes plans to refresh his Gunners side, Arteta is considering a remarkable player-plus-cash bid for Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, with Granit Xhaka potentially moving the other way.

It is hard to see how Arsenal will tempt Brendan Rodgers into parting with one of his finest assets, but Arsenal fans are already drooling over the prospects of seeing the former Genk midfield enforcer walking in through the Emirates door.

Here are some of their views on Twitter:

@YonkoAbbz: The CDM position hasn’t been filled adequately for years at Arsenal and we clearly made a massive idiotic error in signing Xhaka instead of Kante who apparently wanted to join Arsenal. We can let history repeat it’s self and miss out on Ndidi.

@sammyllionaire1: Well, as for me, Koulibaly will be a great signing. Mustafi, Sokratis and Xhaka must go in January. If its only Leicester’s Ndidi and Koulibaly Arsenal can get in January, I’ll be satisfied!

@DEMOSKE: Merry Christmas Ndidi. We waiting for you at Arsenal!!

@ibassemm: Ndidi to Arsenal and it is a dream.

@LycanLaviva: Santa Claus, all I need for Christmas is Ndidi at Arsenal.

@iam_urchmaaino: Merry Christmas Ndidi. Pls come to Arsenal.

@paularsenal6: I hope this is true! If this is true then we are getting him.

@bakkyson01: Please Arsenal make it happen!

23-year-old Ndidi has been one of the stars of the 2019/20 EPL season. The Super Eagles midfielder has also been an integral part of Leicester’s surge up to second in the Premier League table, with 20 appearances and two goals in all competitions so far this campaign.
