Osimhen's over the top pass soon after found the head of Samuel Chukwueze who then lobbed the goalkeeper with a classy finish as Gernot Rohr's men took the lead for the first time in the encounter just before the break.
The former Sporting Charleroi forward then netted his brace in the 75th and 85th minutes to take the tie beyond the reach of the Crocodiles.
Osimhen later took to social media site, Twitter, to celebrate the crucial victory and to express his happiness at his contribution in the game.
