Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named the best goalkeeper in Africa, and the 14th best goalkeeper in the World by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).
The Rivers Angels shot-stopper caught the eye of fans and critics at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France earlier this year. The 18-year-old played in all but one of Falcons game in France including the 2-0 win over South Korea where she became the youngest ever goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in a Women’s World Cup game.

Her performance this year has now been duly recognised as she was named the best goalkeeper in Africa by the IFFHS, while she was also named the 16th best goalkeeper in the world.
