According to reports, the Super Eagles will not depart for Lesotho until Saturday despite the AFCON qualifier taking place a day later.
Following their win over Benin Republic on Wednesday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, the Super Eagles were expected to depart for Maseru, the capital of Lesotho on Friday.
But due to logistics and Maseru just six hours away, the Super Eagles will not leave their Akwa Ibom base until Saturday.
The game against the Crocodiles is the second round of matches in the Group L of AFCON 2021 qualifiers. The Super Eagles lead the group with three points following their victory over the Squirrels on Wednesday.
Lesotho are levelled with Serria Leone in second place after they both played out a 1-1 draw in the other Group L encounter.
The Super Eagles will hope to make it six points from two games when they take on the Crocodiles on Sunday. The game will be played on astroturf with kickoff time set at 5 pm local time.
