The debate on the international futures of Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham rages on with Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr the latest high profile name to speak on the issue.
The international future of the Chelsea duo have been subject of debate in recent weeks with both players undecided on whether to play for England or Nigeria.
However, it appears Rohr has resigned to losing their services to the Three Lions after revealing there are no immediate plans to invite them to the Super Eagles.
Speaking to BBCSport, where Soccernet.ng got excerpts from, Rohr revealed the duo are not ready to discuss their international futures while he also said that Abraham has been assured a place in the England squad this week.
“They are both interesting players, but we have made our immediate plans without Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori,” Rohr said.
“They are not interested in discussing their international options at the moment and we need to respect that.” It has been reported in the English media that Abraham will pick England over Nigeria if he’s selected in Gareth Southgate’s squad to face Czech Republic and Bulgaria in the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Rohr has now confirmed the Chelsea No 9 will be selected in the Three Lions squad but does not hold any hard feelings towards him.
“It is also significant to note that Abraham has been assured that he will be in the England squad,” Rohr added.
“Tomori is a very good friend of our player Ola Aina (ex-Chelsea and England youth international) and he said he does not want to discuss this for now. We have to focus on what we have and not lose focus about what people say all the time.
